Perfect DIY Wedding Ideas You Shouldn’t Miss

Today, I have loved Neo as my husband for 730 days! But I will not talk about our 2-year adventure as Mr and Mrs Acla in this blog post. (Though, if you wanna reminisce with me, you may read here).

Instead, I’m going to showcase easy DIY wedding ideas that Neo and I had on the morning of 29 December 2015. Yes, we did DIY instead of Buy!

Our Love and Life Story

Wedding Invitation
It was overwhelming when I first saw it inside the box. From the very start, Neo and I put on our thinking and creative caps to come up with a simple yet sophisticated, very US and personal invitation. Neo executed what I was imagining. 3 weeks in the making. Countless revisions. Our invite was one of the first tastes of our event that we gave our guests so it was the perfect time to establish things like the tone and the color scheme. It was another personal touch that we just couldn’t pass up.

Mass Booklets
Neo and I personally chose the readings and prayers of the faithful. We’re so thrilled when our church and priests approved it. For us, the Eucharistic ceremony should be the most important part ng wedding. The rest is secondary.

I love incorporating DIY elements throughout a wedding, why?

  1. It allows the couple to incorporate personal touches
  2. Best bonding moments
  3. Budget-friendly

It was a magnificent day because we have a God who is a perfect wedding planner!!!
